Emperor Menelik II limited edition Leyu Tej decanter

Ethiopia, Unconquered

The only African nation never colonized.

On the morning of March 1, 1896, the empire that had divided a continent met an army it could not break.

Adwa was not a battle — it was a verdict. And it was made possible by the lineage that came before it and the sovereignty defended after. From Tewodros, who unified the kingdoms, to Menelik and Taytu who broke the Italian army, to Haile Selassie who carried Ethiopia's voice to the world.

We worked with master glassblowers to render each figure in deep relief — crown, sword, robe, halo — and seal each bottle with our oxblood wax medallion. Two hundred per release. Numbered 001 through 200.
